WP Clock Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
WP Clock (“the app”) is a live wallpaper and desk clock for Android, published by Tom Anyz. This policy explains what information the app uses, what stays on your device, and what may be sent over the internet.
Information stored on your device
The app stores data locally so it can remember your choices, including:
- Clock layout, colors, fonts, and theme settings
- Custom presets and background images you add
- Premium trial status and whether Premium is unlocked on this device
This information is kept in the app’s private storage on your device. Theme and preset data are not uploaded to our servers.
Optional device information shown on the clock
If you enable the related options, the app may read:
- Mobile network / carrier name — to show your operator label on the clock (uses basic telephony state provided by Android).
- Wi‑Fi network name — only if you turn on “Show Wi‑Fi” and grant permission. Android requires the Location permission to expose network names; we do not use your GPS position or track where you are.
- Battery level and charging state — to show the battery indicator when enabled.
You can disable these elements or deny permissions at any time in the app or in Android system settings. If permission is denied, the app simply omits that information from the display.
Network use
The app contacts the internet only when you use features that need it:
- Online background gallery — when you browse or download image packs from wpclock.exquinet.com, the app requests catalog and image files from that server. We do not receive your name, email, or account details for this feature.
- Google Play — when you buy, restore, or redeem a promo code for Premium, payment and purchase verification are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Apart from the cases above, the clock, wallpaper, and settings work offline. The app does not upload your photos or theme configuration to our servers.
Premium purchases
WP Clock offers a one-time in-app purchase (“Premium”) through Google Play Billing. Promo codes for Premium are also created and redeemed through Google Play. Transaction processing, receipts, and refunds are governed by Google’s privacy policy and Google Play’s terms. We only receive confirmation that a purchase exists for your Google account so the app can unlock Premium features.
What we do not do
- No advertising networks
- No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs in the app
- No sale of personal data
- No collection of account names, email addresses, or contacts inside the app
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and your choices
- On your device — uninstalling the app removes its local data. Premium purchase status is tied to your Google Play account and can be restored after reinstall, including after redeeming a Google Play promo code.
- Permissions — you can revoke Location or other permissions in Android settings at any time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when the app changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
